Edward J. Fudman, M.D. began practicing rheumatology in Austin in 1988. He
attended Duke University in Durham, North Carolina where he received his B.A. summa cum
laude in 1977 and M.D. in 1981. Dr. Fudman completed a residency in internal medicine at
Duke University Medical Center in 1984. He completed his fellowship in rheumatology at the
University of Michigan in 1986. Following rheumatology fellowship Dr. Fudman served on the
faculty of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston before coming to Austin to practice
rheumatology.
Dr. Fudman is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and is a
Certified Clinical Densitometrist. He is a Fellow of
the American College of Rheumatology and past president of the Texas Rheumatism
Association. He is a member of the Travis County Medical Society, Texas Medical
Association, American Medical Association, and International Society for Clinical
Densitometry.
